The Division is involved in all phases of a construction project from commercial disputes involving construction contracts, liens, government and private bid disputes, performance bonds to the defense of administrative proceedings before OSHA and its Occupational Health Review Commission. Additionally the firm provides general litigation advice and defense for tort actions involving negligent construction, premises liability, violations of building and fire codes, and environmental litigation in the areas of mold and toxic substances. The Commercial and Business Litigation Division also works hand in hand with the Employment Law Division in defense of claims in the area of uninsured workers' compensation cases, subrogation, statutory compensation liens, plus defense of retaliation, discrimination, and pay disputes under State and Federal law. |
