Ms. Stanton focuses her practice on the defense of
self-insured employers and workers' compensation
carriers. Her practice background includes personal
injury litigation as well as automobile, wrongful death
and medical malpractice. She is a member of the
Workers' Compensation Section of the Florida Bar
and serves as a Hearing Officer for the Polk County
Code Enforcement Board.
Ms. Stanton received a B.S. in Biology from Stephens
College in Columbia, Missouri in 1991. She then
received a B.A. in Chemistry from Stephens College
in 1992. Ms. Stanton went on to graduate from the
Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University
in Macon, Georgia in 1995. As a law student, she
was on the Dean's List and was the recipient of the
Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Outstanding
Law Student of the Year Award as well as the Who's Who in
American Colleges and Universities. |
